Jacksonville Jaguars Expect Full Stadium Capacity For 2021 Season

The Jacksonville Jaguars season ticket renewals recently went live. The Northeast Florida professional football franchise is setting the expectation to have full-capacity crowds at TIAA Bank Field by the upcoming 2021 season.

The announcement comes in the wake of a less-than-stellar 1-15 season and brand overhaul. Not only that, but the team is still settling in with a new head coach, Urban Meyer, and now has the No. 1 overall pick in the upcoming NFL draft.

What to Expect for the Upcoming Season

Existing season ticket holders have until April 9, 2021 to decide whether to renew before new seats are released. Season ticket renewal will increase by 7.2% this year. All seats up for renewal will increase $4 or less per game. General bowl season tickets will begin at $41 per game, with loyalty pricing available. If the team is to play a home game in London, season ticket members will be reimbursed.

Health and Safety Is Still a Priority

Current rules in place that limited the crowd to 25% capacity last season are expected to be gone by the time the team takes the field again in August 2021. However, health and safety protocols put in place during the 2020 season at TIAA Bank Field are expected to remain indefinitely.

“As we kick off season ticket renewals, the health and safety of our fans, stadium employees and team remain a top priority,” said Chad Johnson, Jaguars senior vice president of sales and service and chief content officer. “We’re executing a plan to reunite and rally around Jaguars football this fall, and, as we did in 2020, we will continue to work alongside local government and medical experts to ensure we’re doing what’s best for our community.” He added, “After this past year, I think we all have a newfound appreciation for the collective emotion you can only experience as part of a live sporting event crowd.”

Retaining 2020 health and safety protocols will allow the Jaguars to safely accommodate full capacity and ease fans back while making sure they are mindful and decreasing risk.
