LPGA Announces 2021 Symetra Tournament Schedule

The Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) has announced the schedule for their 2021 Symetra Tournament. The tournament spans the country with a variety of locations and exciting high-stakes purses for each stop. Insurance Office of America (IOA) is pleased and proud to be a partner with Symetra yet again to sponsor two amazing events in this year’s tournament.

2021 IOA-Sponsored LPGA Symetra Tournament Stops

During the ongoing pandemic, the 2020 Symetra Tournament was executed safely and successfully due to following common-sense guidelines and CDC protocols. IOA is excited to be involved again in helping hopeful LPGA athletes continue to hone their craft and contribute to this historic sport’s continuing legacy in 2021 and beyond.

The following are IOA-sponsored Symetra tour events that you won’t want to miss:

  1. The IOA Championship. Held in Beaumont, CA, The IOA Championship will once again be played at the gorgeous and scenic Morongo Golf Club at Tukwet Canyon. In 2020, Spain’s Fatima Fernandez Cano nabbed the championship win with 3-under par 69 to close out a 12-under overall. Cano will return to California this year to play for the title yet again on March 23–28, 2021.

  2. The IOA Classic. Celebrating its ninth year as part of the Symetra Tournament, The IOA Golf Classic has played at the incredibly beautiful Alaqua Country Club in Longwood, Florida since 2014 when Kendall Dye won her first career tournament. Originally designed by PGA pro Gary Player, Alaqua has been transformed in recent years by resident and IOA co-founder John Ritenour to feature a tournament-worthy 54 holes and a 71 par. With a $175,000 purse and defending champ Laura Wearn returning to play for USA, this tour stop truly lives up to its name as a classic on the Symetra tournament circuit.

Continuing the Classic IOA and LPGA Partnership

Every year, IOA plays an integral role as a supporter and sponsor of events on the Symetra Tour. The Symetra Tour is the official qualifying tour of the LPGA and enters its 41st season in 2021. The Tour’s mission is to prepare the world’s best young women professional golfers for a successful career on the LPGA Tour. The talent pool grows wider every year, and IOA and Symetra are proud to assist in fostering this talent and providing an avenue for women to excel and advance golf to new heights.

Whether you’re on the West or East Coast, you’ll have plenty of opportunity to see great LPGA golf. The full 2021 Symetra Tournament schedule can be found here.
